radio flyer steer stroll coupe target Radio Flyer Steer & Stroll CoupeThere is nothing cooler than a little red sports car.  Even if there is a toddler in the driver’s seat.  There must be something in our genes that make our eyes pop open and take notice when something shiny and cherry red zooms into view.  It’s like my daughter feels cool every time she slinks into her Radio Flyer Steer & Stroll Coupe.  She throws one arm up across the back of the seat and the other up on the top of the steering wheel.  Is anything cuter than a 10 month old who looks like she’s cruising the Miracle Mile?

The Radio Flyer Steer & Stroll Coupe also has a number of features that keep her entertained.  My daughter LOVES music, so when she presses the blue radio button on her Radio Flyer and out comes one of three melodies she is truly in heaven.  She bops her little head from left to right and jiggles her little body around in the seat.  One song has a country feel, another is more rock and roll, and the third is a rap-like tune.  A little something for everyone.

There are also blinkers on either side of the car.  To indicate an upcoming turn, I presume, or to bat at for a more rhythmic sound than whatever is on the radio.  There is a door that opens and shuts providing endless entertainment for kids who like to open and shut things.  And there is a small gas tank on the side of the car that can be opened and screwed back in after you fill ‘er up.  The horn goes beep – or squeak – to alert those in the vicinity that baby is just around the corner.  There is even a convenient, adjustable telescope pole that comes out the back so you can push your child around the room without stooping.  Other favorite features are a spinning steering wheel, a stow-away foot-rest, a key that clicks and a dashboard that lights up when the buttons are pressed.

Plus for added protection and peace of mind a new safety feature has been added.  Seat belts!  The same thing that keeps you safe in your car will keep your children safe in theirs. Overall it is a timeless toy with multiple features that interest and fascinate children.

The Radio Flyer Steer & Stroll Coupe has that vintage feel and that quality craftsmanship that make it something you can pass on from one family member to the next.  This is a classy vehicle.  Now if only my car were half as cool…

The Radio Flyer Steer & Stroll Coupe retails for $99.

That would probably be the day I drove over my daughter’s foot..Here I had warned her countless times about “big, bad cars” and then this happened. She was talking to me through the driver’s window while I backed up, I paused and she said “Mommy, you are on my foot!” I froze a second and then I was OMG! I backed up more, jumping out of the car. Fortunately we had a gravel driveway and her foot sunk under the weight. But still..I was horrified. And to this day it is my daughter’s favorite story. Of course it is.

In the beginning of this school year, my son had early dismissal, where I was to pick him up early from school. Being a mom with younger kids and always on the run, I completely forgot to pick my son up early. His teacher called and I rushed to pick him up. He was in tears. Not only did I feel so embarrassed, but I felt like the most terrible mom.

I was shopping the other day and my son picked out a plastic wheelbarrow that he started filling up with toys while I shopped. It was cute and kept him busy. After I bought my purchases I put his stuff back. He threw a fit, ran away from me in the store and when I caught him he hit me, Yikes! I love having a toddler, haha. Thank you.
