Ministry of Sex

sexandthesippy 13 Ministry of SexI’ve come to a pretty sad conclusion. None of the people who should be having sex are. Teenagers are doing it. High schoolers are doing it. College students are doing it. Married people are absolutely not doing it. And as the number of kids in a family go up, the number of sexual encounters per week decrease.
I am a woman on a mission to help people who have created life get back in the sack. I’m not sure how I’m going to do it yet. Maybe it’ll come to me over Thanksgiving weekend.

I’ve learned a lot over the past 9 weeks of having two children. I now know that a daily shower isn’t a a luxury. Just because you can’t smell yourself doesn’t mean other people can’t. Sexy and stinky don’t go together. Foreplay begins with a bar of soap and clean clothes. I know that in order to be in a mood to have sex I have to let go of the idea that my husband “owes me” for
all the hard work I do. Yes, I probably do more with the kids than he does but that’s just how it is right now. I find ways to reward myself (online shopping). Being available for sex has everything to do with a woman’s mindset and a lot of us walk around getting stuff done, taking care of our families, but are closed to sex. Unreceptive.

Right now the cute British chef, Jamie Oliver, is running around the UK filming his show “Ministry of Food” in an effort to get people back in the kitchen. I’m going to be the Ministry of Sex and get people back in the sack.

Let’s just hope I figure out how.

xoxo Sex and the Sippy
