Delta Faucet Inspired Living

I was looking to upgrade my kitchen and didn’t have the first idea of how to begin. That’s why I was thrilled to have Touch2O Kitchen Faucets on my side.

They have come up with an interactive digital tool that allows users to explore and discover different faucet designs based on personal aesthetics. Delta was basically offering to help me shape the vision of my kitchen! I took the help.

First I took the Delta Faucet Inspired Living Quiz which promised to decipher which touch faucet would best suit my style – ” traditional, transitional or contemporary at heart”. I’ve always thought of myself as eclectic so I was intrigued as to which category I would fall under.

It said a tie breaker was needed and I must choose my favorite slippers. Finally it burped out it’s verdict. I was deemed “traditional – Call it timeless. Just don’t call it old-fashioned. Because although your style takes its cues from the past, there’s nothing dated about borrowing the best—be it marble counter tops, beveled glass cabinets or a charming twin-handled faucet over a cast-iron sink—and ditching the rest.”

I LOVE this description – which made me rethink my whole design strategy. I wasn’t eclectic anymore – I had a real vision. And now I could move on to my kitchen design with purpose, focus and most importantly, with confidence.

Armed with my quiz results, I then dove into Delta’s Inspired Living online resource, which was filled with slide shows of gorgeous kitchens. I got pulled into one grouping of kitchen pictures called, “Cooking it Old School”. I loved each kitchen more than the next. This was for me. Finally I found THE ONE – It was called Mediterranean Mix and reminded me of a kitchen I would find in Italy. Traditional but fun. Warm and inviting. I was sold. It had the dark cabinets mixed with lighter cabinets I was envisioning, the golden tones for the walls and the oven hood and even the geometric back splashes that I favor.

Delta was ready to give me the faucet that best fit my kitchen style and it was…(drumroll)  the Cassidy Faucet in Champagne Bronze. I love when I get the answers to the test and this was the easiest test I’d taken in a long time. The Cassidy faucet did seem to perfectly fit the look I was going for.

Touch2O® Technology_ Celebrating Five Years of the Faucet That Thinks

The Cassidy faucet not only looks great but also features Touch2O Technology. Similar to the technology found on smart phones and tablets, Touch2O is thoughtfully designed for precise, reliable control, enabling users to activate the flow of water exactly when and where they need it. The touch feature makes it easier to turn off the water flow when not needed between tasks and the automatic shut off, help save water. When hands are messy, you can start the flow of water with a forearm or wrist, helping reduce the potential for cross- contamination. Whether you are traditional, transitional or contemporary, you can have the benefit of this touch-activated feature; The Cassidy, Addison, Linden, Pilar and Trinsic faucets all come with Touch2O Technology.
